Dupa o perioada in care nu am auzit mai nimic despre ea, britanica Alexandra Burke revine cu piesa Renegade. Trackul e o balada care duce mai degraba spre stilul urban decat cel dance-pop cu care se lansase.

 

Cantareata a devenit cunoscuta dupa ce a castigat concursul X Factor si a lansat piese ca Bad Boys, un featuring cu Flo Rida, Broken Hells sau All Night Long, toate aparute in 2009. Cel de-al doilea album al Alexandrei Burke a fost lansat in 2012, insa a dat un singur single de succes, Elephant. Intre timp, artista britica a anuntat ca la finalul lunii aprilie va lansa un nou EP:

This EP is extremely close to my heart. It marks what is set to be a new chapter for me both personally and artistically. I have worked extremely hard on this, there has been laughter, tears and sweat. Renegade touches upon themes and experiences that I have never spoken out about before. Since the last album, a lot has changed in my life, but most importantly I have changed. I’m in a great place, healthier and stronger than ever. I feel as an artist its important for one’s music to grow with them. I’m now twenty-six and having taken time out of the musical ring, I now have the gloves firmly back on.

 

Alexandra Burke anunta inca de anul trecut ca se va intoarce cu peise noi, mai ales dupa ce albumul Heartbreak On Hold nu a avut impactul scontat. Elephant si Let It Go au fost cele doua single-uri care au incercat sa ajunga din urma succesul unor piese ca Start Without You sau The Silence.
